Youth Stress & Trustworthy Adults: Get a glimpse into what’s stressing youth and what they say is helping. This will also include brief commentary on the brain and its functions during times of stress and reminders of the true-and-tried practices of how to support young people with their stress.
PRESENTED BY: Carlyn Andrew, Senior Director of Counseling & Training Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley
Formerly known as the Fox Cities Youth Worker Coalition/YWC, established January 2004 by local organizations, the purpose of the Fox Cities Youth Advocacy Network (YAN) meetings is to provide local professionals working with youth (ages 6-25) with opportunities for resource sharing, networking, problem solving, and professional development.
Please note: The network’s meetings occur on the second Thursday of the scheduled months from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the Girl Scouts office. The educational program occurs from 9am-10am followed by an opportunity for networking. Due to COVID-19, YAN meetings have transitioned to virtual format using Zoom. ~The YAN Advisory Team
