Dairy Workers Skills
A series of six modules have been developed to train workers in milking skills, nutrition, calf management, herdsmanship (fresh cow exams, assisting cows with calving), feeding and nutrition, and cattle handling and other skid steer operations. Training can be done in small group settings or individually with voice-over powerpoints and DVD format in English and Spanish. Modules are available for purchase from the Babcock Institute in Madison.
