Master Gardener Presents, Dr. Shannon Davis-Foust “Pollinators in the Coal Mine.”

Pollinator decline is a complicated story. Factors that affect honey bees also have an impact on native pollinators, possibly even to a greater extent. Shannon will discuss what these factors are and what we can do in our own gardens to boost the pollinator population.

Shannon is an active member of Wild ones and additionally has over 15 years of experience teaching environmental topics. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Shannon is an avid gardener, wildlife watcher, and beekeeper, and has a Ph.D. in Ecology emphasizing Natural Resource Management from UW-Milwaukee.
