Pesticide Applicator Training

Federal law requires anyone who applies or supervises the application of restricted use pesticides be trained in the proper application. Whether this is a new position or the time has come to renew your certification, Extension Outagamie County is offering two training sessions in 2020.

You must register in person at the Extension Office to pick up the training manual.  Please register at least a week (seven days) before the session you want to attend. The registration fee is $30, payable to Extension Outagamie County.

The permit is good for five years.  The training consists of a presentation and discussion, then the exam. You must provide some form of positive identification such as driver’s license or social security card proof of ID. When you come for the training and exam, please have your social security number with you; it is required for the test. All sessions begin at 9:00 a.m., break for lunch and end sometime after 3:00 p.m.
