
MaryBeth Wohlrabe, Outagamie County Positive Youth Development Educator, University of Wisconsin – Madison, Division of Extension, received the Distinguished Service Award from the Wisconsin Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals (WAE4-HYDP) at their annual conference on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This award is given to a Youth Development Professional who has served for over seven years and is actively engaged in extension youth programs.
MaryBeth’s programming includes the Rent Smart Program in High Schools, Adulting 101, and now also serves as the WI 4-H AmeriCorps Assistant Program Manager. She also assists the local 4-H Program Educator with camp, in-school clubs, and before and after school programs with hands-on experiential learning programs focusing on communication and problem solving skills.
MaryBeth Wohlrabe is an alum of the Hampden Happy Hustlers 4-H Club in Columbia County.
This state award will be forwarded to the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals (NAE4-HYDP) for national recognition in October at the conference in Atlanta, GA.
